How do the Red-crowned Crane and Great Indian Bustard score bonus cards when played?
They score a bonus card right away. The Crane caches one food per point the bonus card scores right now (its current score, not its potential), and counts bird cards in your hand when played. Both are optional. A bonus card can still score again at game end, including Winter Feeder, which is evaluated on your current food when scored this way.
