Wingspan Asia
When a power says 'roll any die', can I take it from the birdfeeder and where does it end up?
A Stonemaier staff reply confirmed the appendix rule; several players quoted the same appendix passage.

Yes. You may pick a die from inside or outside the feeder and roll it outside the feeder; it stays outside afterwards unless the bird's text says otherwise. This general rule comes from the Asia appendix and applies to every "roll any die" power.
