What does the star on the Flock mode turn-order dial mean?
The rulebook's Flock text says the star points to the first-player token holder; Stonemaier staff restate it.

- Wingspan Asia rulebook · Rulebook · Flock Mode (6-7 Players)
The star points to the holder of the first-player token. Point it at that player at the start of each round and again whenever the token passes left. After that it does little until the next round, except in 7-player games where the '1,3' and '2,4' sides of the dial use it to decide who plays first when two active players must resolve one after the other.
