How do 7-player Flock games handle odd turn counts and adjacent active players?

In rounds 2 and 4 the player to the right of the first-player token has one cube left at the end and takes a last turn alone. When the two edge players of the 4-person group are active together, they resolve their turns one after the other: the star player first in rounds 1 and 3, the other in rounds 2 and 4. If the first one draws cards, refill the tray before the second goes.
