Do I gain Virtue or Corruption every time I shuffle, or only when my Draw Pile runs out?
Every shuffle counts, whatever causes it: running out of cards, a hire or dismiss effect, or a reshuffle icon. Each time, if you have at least one Criminal icon you gain Corruption, otherwise you gain Virtue. The rulebook's Phase 6 wording only mentions an empty Draw Pile, but the designer says it applies to all shuffles.
