When can I place a die on a dice slot that shows a composition icon?

- Vantage rulebook · Rulebook · 5. Place rolled challenge dice one at a time on your grid cards (and impact slots on any players' grid cards)
Only when you are interacting with a creature of that composition: a location action at a location showing the icon, or an action on a creature card in your grid showing it. The die must also match any other restriction on the slot. The icon identifies the creature you interact with, not the environment, and acting on a flora card itself (Brew, Consume) does not qualify.
