Does the Invisible Man get +1 on fog if he plays no defense card?
The designer said so, and the rulebook says the same.

No. The +1 is added to a defense card he plays while on a fog token. With no card played there is nothing to add to. It is not a card effect, so Feint cannot cancel it.
