Do all players get the same number of turns, or does the game stop immediately at the end?
Players agree this is intended; the rulebook ends the round after the active player's turn.

Not necessarily. The game ends right after the active player's turn when the time marker triggers the end, so some players may have one turn fewer. Remaining players do not get a last turn. Controlling the time marker is part of the strategy.
