Can I send a legionnaire to my leader's province regardless of distance, and do legionnaires move later?
The rulebook says legionnaires go straight to the leader's province.

Yes to the first: a legionnaire jumps straight from the camp to wherever your leader stands. No to the second: once placed it never moves, even if your leader leaves.
