At the start of each turn every song in play must be introduced, advanced, vamped or exhausted. Intro costs 1 Dex and 1 Focus; advancing costs 1 Dex and Focus equal to the section you advance to; vamping costs 1 Focus and no Dex. A song can't stay on the same section two turns and isn't exhausted by use. Focus isn't spent: it is a constant, so the Focus of active songs just can't exceed your current Focus.
