Yes. The skill tree requires Promise of Prey first, then Ferocity. The Live Battle walkthrough that shows Ferocity first is a printing error: the publisher acknowledged it and updated the digital rulebook, with the graphic to be fixed later. Players add that a Loot card that lets you train outside the tree can skip the order.
