The day ends only when a player's turn ends with 8 or more Nob cards in play, so a ninth can be drawn and the day ends after the next player's turn. To clear Workplace Accident with no Lab Dice in the Lab, draw Lab Dice from the bag into the Lab and hope for a health result; players report roughly even odds on the first draw.
