When a player has gone out, how many passes end a trick?
Stated by a few players and follows from the three-pass rule; the rulebook doesn't spell it out.

A player who is out counts as passing automatically, so once one player is out, only two more passes are needed. The trick ends when everyone still in the hand has passed after the last play.
