Is every game of Planet X solvable by logic, or do you ever have to guess?
Yes — every game code has exactly one solution that can be deduced with certainty, so guessing is never required. You may not need all six Research clues, and some codes need one or two Conference clues. If one apparently empty sector is the only one not ruled out by dwarf planet, gas cloud and conference rules, it must be Planet X. A rare unsolvable game that was reported was acknowledged as a bug.
