When I move my Gallerist onto a space where my own Assistant stands, can I move that Assistant elsewhere instead of sending it home?
The designer said Assistants on the board can be taken at any time and the choice is yours.

Yes. Assistants on Location spaces can be moved at any time on your turn, so you can relocate the one that would be displaced (for instance to the Location you are leaving) before the kick-out resolves, or move it to your desk first and then place it. Your choice.
