Enemies that cannot be deployed go to Deslandra's faction stack. The number to deploy is the player count of level 20 enemies, plus 1 on Adept or plus 2 on Expert. A stack exists only when the total exceeds the two numbered spaces. Day 1 names the enemies to set aside, and killed enemies do not stay gone unless a keyword or effect says so.
