Does an item-idea Skill card count against the hand limit before and after crafting?
The rulebook says crafting turns the Skill from your hand into an Item and the hand limit is checked last.

Before crafting it counts as a Skill in hand; once crafted it leaves your hand and counts as an item instead. Because crafting is part of the consequence step, the hand limit is only checked afterwards, so you may keep the extra card during the action.
