What happens if you fail an action that has no black failure section, and can you retry?
The rulebook says failing an action without a failure section has no consequence.

Nothing happens beyond losing the cards you drew. You may try again, paying the cost again each time, unless a permanent event's arrow or the card blocks it. A card in your hand used for the action is discarded only if its text says so.
