How does combining items work, and when does durability add together?
The publisher confirmed that any items combine and that shared keywords add durability, matching the rulebook's Combining an item section.

You may stack any item card under any existing item, within the stack-size limit for your player count, and the stack shares one die. The new card's durability is added to the die (maximum 6) only if it shares at least one keyword with the top card; otherwise the die is unchanged. Two identical Food cards share a keyword, so they combine and add up.
