How do Major Discovery tiles differ from regular Discovery tiles?

They are kept apart from the regular stacks, can be claimed in any order from those available on a space, are one-time bonuses, and are not replaced when taken. Effects that trigger on getting, flipping or manipulating a Discovery tile do not apply to them, and they do not count for the Temple Bonus that counts non-mask Discovery tiles, although they count as Discovery tiles for other effects like mask scoring.
