No. Under the 2.0 rules eating is optional: pay 1 Food during Rest to gain 1 Health and lose 1 Terror, and skipping it no longer Exhausts you. The old 1.0 rules cost you your Energy for not eating, which is what older posts describe. Challenge Mode brings a penalty back.
