A crew member at 0 health still has their synergy token and can still receive or give one. A crew member may hold several tokens and use them together on one attack. Tokens are set on the crew boards at the start of each combat and do not carry over to the next. Damage dealt in one action is placed simultaneously, so Gregory's heal token cannot interrupt mid-action; use it right after the action, not on a crew member already at 0.
