The rulebook says to choose one of your 7 tokens and apply it.

You choose any of your seven unused tokens, all visible. Each can be used once. Apply as much of its effect as possible when you take it; effects cannot be saved. The tokens' own effects ('up to 5 steps') can be taken partially.
