When do I gain a corruption?

You gain a corruption when an effect makes you lose warriors, spirit, items or virtues you lack, when skulls must be placed on destroyed buildings, when a building in your home kingdom is destroyed, or when an effect tells you to gain one. Do as much of the loss as you can first. The designer later phrased the general test as being unable to fully resolve an event, battle card or dungeon room, and every hero a shared effect hits who cannot comply takes their own.
