Under Indigo, does play order matter, and do duplicate numbers or two separate runs add up?
The designer said order is irrelevant and only the largest group in a row counts.

Order does not matter; you can arrange your Palette freely. Count only your single longest run. Two separate runs are not combined, and a repeated number adds nothing to the run (the higher card of that number is the one used).
