Can I change the rule to Green or Violet if I have no even cards or none below 4?
The designer confirmed this in 2026 and quoted the printed rulebook wording.

No. You must have at least one card of your own that meets the new rule, so with no even card (Green) or no card below 4 (Violet) you are not winning. Opponents' having none either does not help; zero against zero is nobody winning. Other rules always count a single card.
