In Enchanted Evening, does Snow White's zero power change the cards that set the target sum?
A publisher reply on the forum, consistent with the Rebel Princess 2 rulebook; no base-game text covers it.

No. Cards placed to set the target sum are set aside, not played in a trick, so her power does not apply to them. She can still use it on a card she plays into a trick, for example to avoid pushing the sum past the target. This round card comes from the Rebel Princess 2 expansion, not the base rulebook.
