Do gray worlds (such as New Sparta or Epsilon Eridani) produce goods?

No. Only worlds with a colored production circle produce a good in the Produce phase, and gray worlds are neither production nor windfall worlds. They give you victory points and powers instead. Windfall worlds (colored halo) are also not production worlds.
