When does an epoch end?

In either of two ways: when every player's sun disks are all face down, or when the Sun Boat enters the rightmost space of the Ra track (the one with the epoch marker). A full auction track alone does not end it, and the final Ra tile triggers no auction. Spending the last disk by invoking Ra still completes that auction first.
