Do unoccupied buildings score at game end?
The rulebook states this directly, and forum players agree.

Yes, every building scores the VP printed on it whether or not it has a colonist. Only the bonus VP of the five large buildings require them to be occupied. Plantation spaces left empty and unmanned buildings never cost VP.
