Power Grid
If I paid for a route earlier, do I pay the connection cost again when I later build in a city I bypassed?
The rulebook states you pay all connecting costs for each new city, even for earlier-bypassed cities.

Yes. The game remembers nothing, so each new city costs the full connection cost from one of your cities plus the building cost, even if you passed through it before. Connections you already used are not credited.
