How do I lose a chapter, and what happens on a restart?
At each Month's End you check the last task card and a new task is added; when the card tells you to check the winning conditions and they are unmet, the chapter restarts as a fresh game with 3 extra coins (3 more for each further failure). Nothing from the failed attempt carries over, though playing cards added during it may stay in the deck.
