Is a biomass patch a tile, and does it count for terrain?
The designer said a patch is terrain but not a tile, and the rulebook's glossary agrees.

A patch is a single square of biomass terrain, not a tile and not a resource. It fills a grid square, helps complete rows and columns, and can bridge biomass areas. It does not advance the biomass tracker and does not count for objectives that count tiles or resource icons.
