What does a Ranger in the top Trail End slot do in solo mode?

It discards the left-most Park. If you haven't claimed the top Reserve a Park slot this season, the Ranger takes the First Hiker Marker; if you have, it moves to Reserve a Park and blocks that action until next season, which can leave your other Hiker without a Reserve option.
