Where does the Weather Pattern start on the trail?
The rulebook explains where the pattern starts.

Starting with the 2nd Trail Site, place one token per site left to right and repeat the pattern until the Trail End. The Trailhead is not the 1st Trail Site. Leftover weather tokens on the trail are discarded when the trail is rebuilt for the next season.
