Can Wildlife be turned in at the Lodge or gained there?
The rulebook says the Lodge excludes Wildlife and Canteens can't use it.

No. Wildlife can't be gained at the Lodge, and the Lodge exchange is for non-Wildlife tokens. Wildlife also can't be used to fill Canteens.
