Where do Produce Supplies cubes come from, and does Local Production check a box?

Question

Accepted Answer

They come from the stockpile, never the reserve. Local Production discards the card without checking a box, so the card stays reusable in later games; System-Wide production checks one box. Both fill only up to the location's population, so you can pick up its cubes first with the free action and then produce.
