What happens if a character dies on exposure during a move?
The rulebook covers what follows a death; where a mid-move death is recorded rests on community reading.

The rulebook says a dead character loses any remaining actions but you still resolve the rest of your turn (draw and infect) and bring in a new character. The rules do not spell out a death during a move; players commonly record it at the city being left, so the pawn does not reach its destination.
