Where do the secret (mystery) cards go during setup, and which ones do I use?
Several players agree on this, and the rulebook places the secret deck on the night board; the designer confirms secrets are tied to the cards that trigger them.

Do not shuffle them into any deck. Keep them sorted by number near the board (the ones for your scenario go with the night board) and reveal one only when a card tells you to. Each module's setup lists which secrets it uses, and the same module always uses the same secrets; you may also simply keep all of them handy.
