After I resolve a dream card, where does it go, and can I pay costs with it?

Once in your deck, a dream is an ordinary card: after resolving it, discard it faceup unless the action destroys it, and you may use it to pay for actions. Cards told to go elsewhere (ideas to the workbench, missions to the night board, waiting cards, cards added to your group) stay where they belong. The rulebook sentence about dreams staying in the deck is confusing and does not make them unavailable.
