The team and win condition travel with the Doppelgänger card, so whoever holds it at the end is that role: a Troublemaker swap of a Werewolf-Doppelgänger makes the new holder the Werewolf. The night action stays with the original Doppelgänger, who cannot be sure of the final result. The publisher confirmed this in 2020.
