Can I use any hero with any dungeon, including dungeons from other sets?

Yes — any hero can face any dungeon, and the designer confirms you may mix a hero's potion and talent with a dungeon from another set. Parts that refer to mechanics not in the current deck (such as Poison without the Forest of Shadows cards) are simply ignored, so dungeons that rely on Poison are best played with a hybrid or Forest of Shadows deck.
