How does the Witch's Hammersmash count even dice?

It counts even dice already rolled (such as black 2, 4 or 6), and it is checked before the rest of your pool is rolled, so only those black dice count. Indomitable can reroll a Witch's heroic die only after the feat is fully resolved.
