The Housekeeper can stand in for a Lady's Maid, a Footman for a Valet if you own the Brushing Room, and the Underbutler for the Butler, a Valet or a Footman at any time. The Butler cannot stand in for a Footman: substitutions are limited to those listed in the Provide Service rules.
