What does the Cook do, and can she be used on a pass?
The designer's April 2026 ruling reverses his 2023 answer.

The Cook gives +1 reputation as a favour when she serves an activity, and lets you invite a guest up to two prestige levels above your reputation. She does not raise a tile's prestige and does not stack with a lent second Cook. Since April 2026 the designer rules she can be used on any activity, including a pass turn's Butler's Room hiring; his January 2023 ruling that she could not be used on a pass is reversed.
