How do I set up a solo game, and is solo courtship open or closed?
The rulebook's Solitaire setup states these and the designer repeated that solo is always closed.

Set up as for a two-player game; you are always the starting player and may choose any family board. Solo uses closed courtship: the Theme card is revealed only at the courtship space at the end of the season, not at the season start. Solo-opponent tile counts are the same as two-player.
