Do family members count as guests or gentry for activity requirements, and can an activity be hosted with family alone?
The designer ruled family are gentry with rating 1 and excluded them from suites, in line with the rulebook's Invite Guests note.
Yes. Family cards are gentry, so they can fill gentry, lady, gentleman or family slots, count as prestige rating 1, and may attend any activity the tile allows. An activity can be hosted with only family. Family members give their favour only when explicitly invited to the activity. They are not casual or prestige guests, so they cannot be used in the Queen's or Heritage Suite.
