A single railway pays nothing. A two-space link pays its 2-step VP income advance once to each player with at least one railway in it. On a three-space link with the per-railway reward, each player advances 2 steps per railway they own; links showing X1 pay once per link. On the 2-player map finishing a two-tile railway alone advances four.
