How do I set up a two-player game of Mindbug?

Deal each player 2 Mindbugs face up and 10 random creature cards as a face-down draw pile, then each player draws 5 cards as a starting hand. Each player also starts with 3 life, tracked with cards from the 28 leftover cards (or dice or tokens).
