Yes. With Superhuman Strength in play, defend, then respond with Counter-Punch: it is an attack, so you deal damage equal to your ATK (including the +2), then Superhuman Strength is discarded and stuns the enemy. Attack events with their own fixed damage, such as Tackle, do not get the +2.
